This course is laid out in two distinct loops of nine holes, both beginning atop the Emery Park ski hill.  The front nine is the course's most heavily wooded portion, incorporating serious elevation changes as it proceeds down the hill toward a creek, then back up to the top. The back nine is flatter, slightly longer and generally more open than the front, as it works its way through the old park trees on the plateau atop the hill. A scenic waterfall, as well as several historic stone structures greet golfers as they work their way through the trails of the course.
