Lets see if people dig it....

First night- 5-28-2010
Friday Night Random Draw Doubles

Where- hole 9- Chestnut Ridge.
When- 600 Sign Up- 630 tee
What- Random Draw doubles- Each team will be 1 Am & 1 Open player. Open will play blues and Am will play white. Girls and Juniors get a tee advantage.
Much- $8.00 ($5.00 pay out, $1.00 Ace Pool, $1.00 Ridge fund & $1.00 Beachwood Classic Pro Purse.)

Why? 1- More fun available to be had
2- Encourage locals to get involved and stop messing up the course.
3- Raise awareness of new courses coming.
4- Give Sheri a date for Friday nights. (ha ha)

ALSO- Beginners encouraged- I will have discs to borrow- if you don't have any.

There will be a weekly Team CTP for 2 Beachwood prizes.

Beachwood Discs will be available to purchase.

Sheri- sherijazembak@rocketmail.com or 716 359 5021 (feel free to text)

I am also willing to procure cheap safe daycare, if there is a want/ need. Let all play and have fun!!!!

I love this idea for reason #2. There are SOOOOO many casual players at the Ridge, and most of them seem like they'd be "down" with NRDG.

Hoping to get out and play Friday assuming the weather holds off. Has anyone made decals to support the NRDG? For on back of cars or whatever.

friday night league would be awesome but I would think the ridge would already be packed as it is on a friday evening with casual players and players throwing from different teepads would be very time consuming.

Mark- true except it is doubles. I was hoping to spread the idea of course stewardship about among the ridge dwellers. If we get too big....maybe we will be the Friday League at Evangola.

actually mark friday nights are pretty good with casuals> all the times that i played fridays lately there was barely any body on the course> not saying that this would be the same case as the weather is getting nicer

Had fun and a good turnout. Flowed well thru the course with not too many backups and finished before it got too dark. Great job guys.
